“Humans are destructive and boring,” Gaia complained. “Tools. Fire. Cities.”
“What do you expect?” Kronos asked. “A blacksmith built their brains.”
“You call mashing lizard, squirrel, and monkey brains together building?”
Kronos laughed. “They call him The Creator.”
“They won’t for long.” Gaia yawned. “Wake me when they’ve forgotten him.”

Okay, I've never read (or more accurately, paid attention to) mythology before. We had it in high school, and I was so distracted, I couldn't concentrate. I retained zero percent of it.
So after reading this, I Googled Gaia and Kronos. Now I'm all intrigued because of the Biblical parallels. I love it when I'm given more to dig into.
I know--I'm late to this party--everybody knows mythology, but hey, I can only read, write, and study so much at once. Lol.
Thank you for lighting this match.
